Shipley is a small market town situated between Leeds and Bradford. The Kirkgate Centre is a community space that hosts a variety of events, groups and activities beneficial to the local community.

By train
Shipley train station is a five minute walk to The Kirkgate Centre.
From Leeds, take either trains heading for Skipton or Bradford Forster Square.
Approximate journey time from Leeds to Shipley is ten – fifteen minutes.
At Shipley, head for the 1960s town centre clock which should visible and cross Otley Road.
The road in front of the clock is Kirkgate. The Kirkgate Centre is situated further up and opposite the Town Hall.
By road from the north
Join the A650 heading towards Bradford.
At Saltaire continue directly through the busy roundabout and along Saltaire high street.
Beyond Saltaire you will reach a junction with traffic lights.
Take the left turn onto Kirkgate.
On Kirkgate you will pass a large church on the left and continue until the junction with Crowgill Road on which The Kirkgate Centre is situated.
By road from the south or M62
If travelling on the M62, leave at Junction 26 (Bradford) and continue to the end of the M606.
Follow signs for the A650 (Keighley).
Continue to follow signs for Keighley through Bradford, and continue out of the city.
Approximately four miles out of Bradford, the A650 crosses over a railway line and reaches a T-junction and traffic lights on a steep slope. Turn right onto Otley Road.
Continue along Otley Road and after an Argos store and Barclay’s bank on your left, take the next left onto Kirkgate.
Continue along Kirkgate and you will see The Kirkgate Centre on the right hand side of the road, opposite the Town Hall.
